With a cast of over 65, leads will be played by: John Tavares as
Geppetto, Kelly Camara as the Blue Fairy, Jeff Belanger as Stromboli and
Sarah Mello as Pinocchio. On Stage Theatrical Productions transported its troupe of characters
from their new version of the classic Disney cartoon, “Geppetto and Son,” to Partners
Village Store and Kitchen of Westport on May 15, delighting kids of all ages
with their colorful, cameo performances.

learns that being a parent is harder than he thought. We could have told him that! On an impromptu stage of blue sky and emerald green grass, and appearing
in full costume, the cast sang and danced to some favorites from the
theatrical production being held at Bristol Community College May 22nd Saturday
and May 23rd Sunday.
About the
performance at Bristol Community College: On Stage Theatrical Productions, Inc. will present “Geppetto and Son.”
From the creator of Wicked, comes a new version of the classic Disney
cartoon, Pinocchio. Geppetto delights all the kids in town with his
creations, but he longs for a son of his own. When the Blue Fairy turns his
puppet into a living, breathing boy, his creator learns that being a parent
is harder than he thought! As in the original Pinocchio story, a wooden puppet aspires to become
a real boy, and faces lessons about telling the truth. In Geppetto and Son,
Pinocchio's dad has some lessons to learn in being a real father. The show incorporates a new song not included in the original Disney
'Geppetto' movie. Featuring When You Wish Upon a Star and Got No Strings with
new music by award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz.
Performances will be held at Bristol Community College on May 22, 2010
