WLCT
seeks proposals for portion of former St. Vincent De Paul Camp. Property tours for
prospective applicants will be provided on October 5, 12, 20, and 27 at 11:00

WLCT currently has the entire 82.30± acre Saint
Vincent de Paul Camp property under agreement and is scheduled to acquire the
property in June 2017. WLCT intends to convey a
conservation restriction (CR) on Parcel A (70.30± acres) to the Town of
Westport that will permanently prohibit any development on Parcel A. WLCT will retain fee simple ownership of Parcel A and
manage it as open space with public access. Parcel B (12± acres) will be
excluded from the CR and there are no specific plans for its use at this
time. The sale or lease of Parcel B is necessary to raise funds to support
the acquisition of the property and the permanent protection of Parcel A. WLCT is therefore requesting proposals for purchasing or
leasing all or part of Parcel B.
The
request for proposals (RFP) can be found on the WLCT
website or by
emailing Jeanette Wiley at masslift@westportlandtrust.org. Electronic submittals
are preferred and should be emailed to Ryan Mann at Rmann@westportlandtrust.org.
Proposals
will be reviewed on a rolling basis and will not be considered if submitted
after December 31, 2016. Property tours for prospective applicants will be
provided on October 5th, 12th, 20th, and 27th at 11:00 a.m. Please call or
