Over the past three seasons English pianist Tim Carey has quickly won over
audiences with his versatile performances, charming personality, quick wit
and good humor. For his 60th birthday concert this season he teamed up with
pianist Bernadene Blaha
for a duo-piano version of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3. What a
thrilling evening at The Breakers it was! For this final concert Mr. Carey
will present works by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Chopin and Rachmaninoff. The
Friends of the Newport Music Festival will prepare a wonderful pre-concert
reception at 6 p.m. followed by the concert at 7 p.m.

Mr. Moniz was born
